Senior Management

Jay Brokamp has over 12 years experience in the Graphic Arts industry. Jay founded DocuStar in January of 1993 with 4 employees. The company grew steadily as a provider of digital print services to the trade. In 2000, Jay attended Drupa, the international print show held every five years in Germany. That experience compelled Jay to develop a strategy that would transform DocuStar from a manufacturing-focused company into a fully integrated communications company. The strategy was implemented immediately, and by 2002 allowed DocuStar to generate marketing collateral based on data, asset management, and internet delivery. As the President of DocuStar, Jay continues to be the driving force in transforming the company into a best-in-class digital communication and marketing company. Prior to launching DocuStar, Jay was employed as an industrial chemical sales representative after graduating from Miami University in 1983.

Kandi O'Connor has over 13 years experience in the Graphic Arts Industry. She has worked at DocuStar since 1997 and has played an integral role in the understanding of DocuStar's vision and guiding the organization in that direction. Her positions have included Project Manager, Customer Service Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager. Kandi graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's in Applied Business with a focus in accounting.

Terry Brokamp is responsible for identifying, developing, and packaging value-added growth solutions for DocuStar's diverse customer base. Joining DocuStar in 1998 as customer service manager, Terry's hands on experience during a time of industry change and company growth has helped position DocuStar as a leader in the marketing communications industry. Prior to joining DocuStar, Terry worked in the chemical distribution industry for over 15 years while holding positions in sales management and packaging distribution. Terry is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

Gayle Witte joined DocuStar in 1998 as the Finance Manager. She has over 30 years accounting experience. Prior to her employment at DocuStar, Gayle worked for ASAP Promotions, Inc. in Cincinnati as the Finance Manager/Office Manager and at Motion Savers, Inc. as Bookkeeper and Office Manager.
Marketing Team

Liz Kaiser joined DocuStar in the fall of 2006. She has worked closely with the IT team on the development of MarketHUB+ over the course of her employment at DocuStar. She is now responsible for directing the advertising, corporate branding, and marketing campaigns at DocuStar. Her positions have included Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Digital Marketing Director. Liz is a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the American Society for Quality. She graduated Cum Laude from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology.
Account Management Team

Sherri Stover has over 19 years in the Graphics Arts Industry. After joining the DocuStar team 9 ½ years ago as a Customer Service Representative she is now the Customer Service Manager who is responsible for a team of 4 Account Managers including herself. She handles large to mid-size accounts and ensures that customers' jobs are expedited throughout production from the proofing stage to delivery. Her team does quality checks throughout the process making sure the job meets our customer's standards. Before working at DocuStar, she was employed at an ISO 9000/QS-9000 training and consulting company. She handled the design, layout and revisions of the training material and sales collaterals. She was a member of the American Society of Quality Control, Cincinnati Chapter, and was in charge of gathering content, designing, and typesetting their monthly newsletter.

Natalie Gosney joined DocuStar in July of 2007 as an Account Manager. Natalie handles client orders from start to finish, which includes the following: preparing quotations, order fulfillment, updating customers on order status, billing completed orders and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prior work experience includes 5+ years in Retail Sales/Management for Limited Brands, Inc and Ann Taylor Stores Corporation. She is a graduate of the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing.

Tim has over 17 years of experience in the printing industry. As an Account Manager at DocuStar, he is involved in all phases of customer service, from the quoting stage to following the job through production to ensure that it is accurate and meets our customers' expectations. With his vast knowledge in the print industry, customers know and trust him with their projects. Prior to joining DocuStar 11½ years ago, he worked for an offset printer where his responsibilities included Accounting, Customer Service, and Bindery.
Operations Team

William joined DocuStar in June of 2007 with over 15 years of experience working in the printing industry. As the Operations Manager, he is responsible for the overall management and operation of DocuStar's production departments, ensuring quality is kept at its highest level while balancing workflow to meet deadlines. Prior to moving to DocuStar, William served as Director of Digital Imaging at Amity Unlimited, leading the daily operations of digital production, inventory and IT departments,providing direction, and long term strategies to respond to customer needs. William is also a Veteran, having served his country for 5 years in the US Navy.

Joshua Mills joined the DocuStar team in July 2007. As the Internet Application Developer, Josh handles the primary programming duties for MarketHUB+ and providing day-to-day IT support. With over 6 years in the Information Technology field, he began his career as a web development contractor. He received an AAS from ITT Technical Institute in Computer Science - Software Applications and Programming in 2004, and has been programming for over 13 years.

Ken Dews joined DocuStar as a Pre-Press Technician in March of 2001. As the Pre- Press lead at DocuStar, Ken interacts with Sales, Account Managers, and customers to offer the most effective and efficient way to achieve customer's goal. He brings a vast knowledge of Pre-Press and Printing experience having begun his career in 1978 as a graphic arts stripper and then running the Pre-Press Department for many years.

Shannon Bauer joined DocuStar in January 2007 as a Pre-Press Technician & Graphic Designer. She prepares both color and black and white jobs for print, and provides graphic design work as well. Shannon has experience with print, web, logo, and branding graphic design. Shannon is a 2006 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Central Michigan University, where she earned a BAA in Graphic Design.
